Como Blue

Como Blue is the formal template. It is dark, the way the lake is dark, and its structure is symmetrical in a way nothing else in the collection is: centred names, centred rules, media held in circular ports like the windows of a boat house.

Champagne and sage sit against that blue as the only warm notes, used at the scale of a place card rather than a banner. The effect is black-tie without the costume.

The typography is where it modernises. An old-style display face carries the names, but everything functional is set in a geometric sans at small sizes — closer to a modern art catalogue than a nineteenth-century villa.
