Paris Editorial

A fashion editorial translated into a wedding experience — for intimate city weddings that want the cover, not the brochure.

Parisian balconies and mansard roofs

The design

Paris Editorial is laid out like a magazine and behaves like one. Full-bleed plates, a masthead-scale name, captions set tight against the image edge, and a running foot with the date. Nothing is centred except the one thing that should be.

It is almost monochrome: near-black type on ivory, with muted burgundy reserved for a single line per section and champagne for the finest rules. Colour arrives entirely through the photographs.

This is the template for eighty guests, a mairie at noon and a long dinner afterwards. It assumes the couple has good pictures and gets out of their way.

Typography

Bodoni Moda & Archivo

A didone at masthead scale in capitals, against a grotesk set small and tight. The contrast is the whole design.
