Goa Villa
A wedding experience set in an old Portuguese-Goan house — shuttered rooms, deep verandas and a garden that has grown past its edges.
The design
Goa Villa is not a beach template. It is a house template: lime-washed walls, oyster-shell windows, a veranda deep enough to sit out the afternoon in, and a garden doing whatever it likes.
The composition keeps returning to arched openings — media is framed under an arch, sections begin under a rule the width of a door frame. The palette is what is actually in those houses: faded green joinery, terracotta tile, pale blue shutters, unpainted stone.
Everything is set slightly wide and slightly slow. Nothing about a Goan wedding is in a hurry, and the page shouldn't be either.
